Rest and Recharge
Sometimes, taking a moment to disconnect is more important than we realize—especially for those of us juggling multiple businesses, roles, or responsibilities that keep us constantly on the go. It’s easy to forget that even those who serve others need to refill their own cup. Burnout is real, and it can creep up quietly.
The good news is that it doesn’t always take much to recharge. It could be as simple as sitting by a small fountain, listening to the gentle sound of water, or watching the flicker of a backyard fire pit as the day winds down. These quiet moments can offer a surprising amount of peace.
Personally, I’ve found tremendous calm in my own environment—even during the chaos of summer with young kids at home. Taking a bit of time, even just a few hours, to reset your mind can make a huge difference. It’s like a mini mental vacation that helps you return to your tasks with fresh energy, new ideas, and a clearer mindset.
So, if you can, carve out a bit of time this weekend—whether it’s a full day or just an afternoon—to be present and give yourself permission to rest. You deserve it.
