Embrace the Grind

Last night while I was making dinner, I overheard something on the TV—my husband had it on in the background, and it caught my ear. It was a group of fighters talking about the grind of training: showing up even when you don’t want to, pushing through tough days, eating clean, staying focused. All the little steps that inch you closer to a bigger goal.

And it really stuck with me. That mindset—embracing the grind—applies to so many parts of life. Whether you're parenting, freelancing, juggling jobs, or hunting for one, it’s that consistent effort and grit that shapes us. It builds strength, character, and drive.

Especially in creative fields like design, where competition is fierce and AI is changing the game, this kind of perseverance is more important than ever. It's not just about proving your worth—it's about showing up, staying humble, and pushing yourself to grow with every project and every client.

Self-worth matters, absolutely. But grit and humility? That’s where the real magic happens.
